Woroni
Now in its 61st year, Woroni is the official magazine of the ANU Students' Association. Woroni is published fortnightly as a full colour tabloid-size newspaper and features broad coverage of local news, sports, arts, culture, politics, opinion, science, music, film, books, careers and leisure. It is available free across the ANU campus. Editors are elected annually in Semester 2.
Woroni offers your organisation consistent and exclusive access to one of the largest consumer markets in Canberra and future employees who rank among the most qualified graduates in Australia. The Australian National University is Australia's first ranked university and contains a diverse and trend-setting student population that spends well in excess of $140,000,000 annually. Woroni delivers 6,000 - 10,000 eyes fortnightly. An advertising prospectus can be obtained here. Please phone to discuss bookings and pricing or to obtain sample issues.
Want to join the Woroni team? We maintain an extensive active writers list as well as a smaller number of very regular writers. There are occasional vacancies for these valued positions. The editors also promptly consider all submissions and article ideas. A writers fee is paid for some contributions. Send in your contact details, applications for future staff vacancies or writing ideas to woroni@anu.edu.au for feedback. Alternatively drop into the Woroni office to meet us in person (left end of the ANUSA building, above Union Court).
