Language Exchange
What is it?
The program aims to provide both domestic and international students with the opportunity to participate in an informal language exchange in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Thai.
If you study one of these Asian languages, the program allows you to practice conversational skills, consolidate materials studied in class, and expand vocabulary and cultural awareness over the semester. If you are an international student, the program will allow you to improve your English, make new friends, and your knowledge about your country and culture.
Participants will receive recognition and certificates from the Faculty at the end of the semester.
How do I join?
Please contact the following clubs:-
Chinese – ANU Mandarin Club
Japanese – ANU Japan Club
Indonesian – Indonesian Australian Language Exchange Society (Selai)
Korean – Korean Society
Vietnamese & Thai – ANU Asia and Pacific Studies Society (APSS)
