Disabilities Department

The Disabilities Officer represents students with disabilities on the Student Representative Council (SRC) and the Joint Representative Council (JRC). More importantly, they are involved in raising awareness of the issues and difficulties faced by students at the ANU who have disabilities, and combating discrimination on campus to ensure that students with disabilities are fairly treated and given due consideration.

The Disabilities Officer works with the Disability Support Unit, the Equity and Diversity Unit, the Faculties, Halls and Colleges and ANUSA to achieve these aims.

The Disabilities Officer is available to individual students to provide support, advice and assistance.

The Disabilities Officer's desk is located in the Students Association, in the same area as the Departments. Please feel free to drop in if you have any questions or concerns.
